Surrounded by nature

Situated in the heart of the Umbrian countryside, the house is surrounded by lawns, vineyards and olive groves all of which offer to the guests a total immersion in the green of nature.
Holiday home Hoopoe is the ideal place to relax, slow down the daily rhythm of life and enjoy a regenerating holiday where nature offers a different landscape all year around: from the green of fields in spring, to the red of leaves in autumn, to the cozy warmth of the fireplace in winter after a walk in the woods.

Lots of activities nearby

There is a wide choice of possible activities to do in the surroundings.
For all the adventurous and the nature lovers the are lots of trails for mountain biking, trekking and horseback riding in the nearby mountains and in the Unesco World Biosphere Reserve of Monte Peglia and routes for rafting in some streams in the area; for all the art lovers, thanks to its strategic position between Umbria, Lazio and Tuscany, it is possible to make daily visits to many typical medieval villages such as Assisi, Spello and Todi or larger cities such as Perugia, Viterbo up to Rome and Florence, both easily reachable by train.

Holiday home Hoopoe is a typical Umbrian countryside house newly renovated which, however, preserved the typical cozy and warm atmosphere.
It’s the ideal place for those looking for peace and full independence, wonderful landscape and contact with nature.
There’s also the possibility, for those interested, to taste the zero kilometre organic products (vegetables and fruits) from the home’s garden.

The farmhouse

The house is organized in two independent apartments, one for each floor, sharing only the entrance room. Each apartments has 3 double bedrooms, 2 spacious bathrooms with shower and washing machine, a fully equipped kitchen and a large living room with fireplace and 2 sofa-beds.
The full house can so host from 2 to 12/14 people and it’s perfect for couples, families, kids and groups of friends, pets are obviously welcome!
The two apartments are never rented to different groups of guests, in this way also smaller groups of people (up to 6, who’ll occupied just one apartment) will have the whole house reserved for them anyways.

The rooms of the farmhouse

Giardino e patio

Il giardino è esteso e lontano da strade ed altre abitazioni rendendolo ideale e sicuro per bambini ed animali domestici. Dal giardino e dal patio si gode del panorama su lago di Corbara, i monti Sibillini e Amerini e le colline circostanti e per passare le giornate all’aria aperta è attrezzato con sdraio, sedie e barbecue. Per i vostri momenti di ozio, sempre nel giardino, vi aspetta anche un terrazzino in tufo con ombreggiante e tavolino.

Soggiorno

Il salone con divani e camino diventa, in ogni appartamento, il centro della casa, caldo ed
accogliente, specialmente durante le sere invernali
I divani presenti nell’appartamento al piano terra sono divani letto da una piazza e mezza per
ulteriori due ospiti.

Cucina

Le cucine con tavolo da pranzo sono provviste di vari accessori per poter permettere di cucinare comodamente per tutti gli ospiti della casa. Dalla cucina del pianoterra si accede al porticato con tavolo esterno, ideale per godersi il panorama, e al giardino circostante il casale.

Le camere

Ogni appartamento è provvisto di tre camere da letto con letti matrimoniali o coppie di letti singoli che si possono dividere in caso di necessità. Ogni finestra è provvista di tende e zanzariere.
Riscaldamento a pavimento presente in tutta la casa.

Garden and patio

The garden, big and away from streets and other houses, is safe for both children and pets who can stay outside freely.
From the patio you can enjoy the view of Corbara Lake, Sibillini and Amerini mountains and all the surrounding hills. In order to spend time in the open-air the garden is equipped with a barbecue, chairs and deckchairs; there’s also, still in the garden, a nice tuff terrace with a table and a shade where you can relax and enjoy the peace of the nature.

Living room

The living room with the sofas and the fireplace, in each apartment, is the centre of the house, warm and cozy, specially during winter evenings.
Both the sofas are queen size bed sofas, so there’s space for other 2 guests.

Kitchen

Both kitchens are fully equipped with tables, chairs and all the necessary accessories to comfortly cook for all the guests in the house.
From the kitchen at the ground floor

Bedrooms

Each apartment has three bedrooms with double beds or pairs of single beds
which can be divided if necessary. Each window is equipped with curtains and mosquito nets.
Underfloor heating throughout the house.
